Plants in Traditional Ceremonies and Treatment of Diabetes Mellitus by The Dayak Tribe in West Kalimantan

This book details the local wisdom of the Dayak Kanayatn people—specifically the Dayak Bukit (Ahe), Dayak Belangin, and Dayak Banyuke (Banyadu) sub-groups in Landak Regency; the Dayak Ribun and Dayak Kodatn in Sanggau Regency; the Dayak Ahe, Dayak Bakati, and Dayak Bidayuh in Bengkayang Regency; the Dayak Mualang and Dayak Desa in Sintang Regency; and the Dayak Taman and Dayak Kantuk in Kapuas Hulu Regency. The local wisdom presented in this study encompasses various traditional ceremonies performed by these communities that utilize a wide range of plant species. Furthermore, the book specifically highlights the various plant species used by these Dayak groups to treat diabetes mellitus.
